England Premier League is first ranking on professional league for football clubs.

Professional league in England was founded on 20 February 1992 under the name of the FA Premier League as a result of decisions taken by the football clubs in Football League First Division to break up the football league, the organizer of the competition since 1888. This decision was taken that income from TV rights of matches return to clubs . England Premier League football competition is the most watched football all over the world and bringing big money revenue as audiences.

England Premier League Football is the biggest roll of money, in the 2008-2009 season was over two billion dollars turnover of participating clubs in the first league championship.As organization is comprised of 20 professional football clubs competing for the title of champion and participation in European Cups.

England Premier League season starts in August and lasts until May, each football club  playing 38 matches thus leading to a total of 380 games played on season.Matches are played on Saturday and Sunday.

Barclays Bank is main sponsor of first English league which is why the competition is called the Barclays Premier League.

Since 1988 to 1992 a number of 23 teams win the competition after this date only four teams succeeding to win the England Premier League title:

• Arsenal London 3 titles
• Blackburn Rovers one championship title
• Chelsea 3 titles
• Manchester United 11 titles

In 2009-2010 season the number of clubs participating on England Premier League championship was reduced to 18 when Federation International Football Associations (FIFA) insist fir this ,after the number of clubs in the league previously had been reduced from 20 in 1995 when four teams were relegated and promoted only two.On 8 June 2006 FIFA urged major European football leagues and federations including Spanish and Italian Serie A and La Liga as the beginning of the 2007-2008 season the number of clubs participating on first leagues to be reduced on 18 clubs.First League refused to reduce the number of teams competing in the 2007-2008 season.English league was formed in 2007 by 20 teams.Also in same year 2007 English football federation changed name of first league from FA Premier League to actual name .

England Premier League is organized as a corporation and is owned by the 20 clubs participating on championship everyone having equal rights and voting rights to prepare or modify the Rules that guides first english league.English federation  is not directly involved in English Premier League organization but have high power decision on first league.

First League trophy given to winners is the creation of Royal Jewellers, weighs 25 kg and has a height of 76 cm body, is made of silver and gold plated silver and semi precious stones.

English League sponsorship benefits from 1993, one of the details of the sponsorship contracts is that the sponsor can add his name to football league name.Since its foundation first english league has received three contracts of sponsorship:

Football sports equipment manufacturing company that owns a contract with the England Premier League is  Nike ,contract that took over MITRE contract from 2000-2001 season.

At the end of the championship football teams ranked on last three position of English League are relegated straight to second league championship their place being taken by the top three teams ranked on second league standings.

Participation in European cups is also based on position in the rankings as follows:

• The first three positions are directly involved in the Champions League group stage
• Fourth place qualifying to play preliminary matches for Champions League groups accession
• Fifth place qualify for the Europa League groups
